Dragon Wrestling Camp
Course Description
This preseason camp will offer technique, drilling, and live wrestling opportunities for all levels of wrestlers. Members of the high school wrestling team will also be present to help run the camp and teach our future Dragons! This camp is a great way to kick off the winter wrestling season and learn more about in-season winter opportunities!
Logistics
- Wear t-shirt/shorts and wear clean dry tennis shoes or wrestling shoes. Singlets/headgear are optional.
- Also bring water bottle with their name on it
Camp Director
- JHS Boys Head Wrestling Coach Aaron Tecklenburg- Coach Tecklenburg has been coaching at JHS since 2008. As a head coach, he has amassed 200+ dual wins. He was named 2025 Iowa HS 3A Coach of the Year, has coached over 100 State Qualifiers and over 50 state place winners, including 5 state champions. As a competitor, he was a 4X Iowa HS State Wrestling Qualifier/2X Placer/1X Finalist.
